Welcome!

Hi Friends, In this article, I will show you some tips to know if someone is Lying to you

1.Eye Movement

You can notice if somebody is lying by looking at his/her eyes, usually, he (the lier) tries to look away from your eyes while talking because of his internal fear of being discovered.

Or you can notice that his eyes are in a rapid blinking movement.

Also, some studies show that if someone writes with his right hand and looks to the left while talking then he is honest while he will be lying if he did the opposite, So If he looks upward and to his right, he’s accessing his imagination, and he’s inventing an answer.

And the same for left-handed people.

You can also count how long he/she is closing their eyes since people often close their eyes for more than a second at a time when they’re lying.

2.Body Langauge

The lier always tries to make somebody movements trying to convince you that he is honest, in some cases, he overuses these things.

And here is some other unconscious movement people do when they lie :

False smile

A false smile doesn’t affect the eyes, and it is just done with the mouth.

Face touching

People’s faces often itch when they lie.Touching one’s face may indicate lying especially his nose.

Excessive sweating

Sweat may appear and you’ll likely observe the person try to wipe it away.

3. Inability to speak again in the same way

Liar usually cannot repeat the words spoken or rephrase it, he repeats them differently from the first time, this reveals the fabrication of the speech, and falsification of reality.

4. Their breathing changes.

When someone is lying to you, they may begin to breathe heavily and When their breathing changes, their shoulders will rise and their voice may get shallow.

5.They repeat words or phrases.

This happens because they’re trying to convince you, and themselves, of something, For example, he or she may say: “I didn’t…I didn’t…” over and over again.

The repetition is also a way to buy themselves time as they attempt to gather their thoughts.
